Selo DRT 2020 Hotel Development
The buildings architecture was created using the hotel brands clean contemporary look which house open spaces that are always alive with activity in order to complying with the principles of building design and quality. Exterior spaces are designed to create and enhance the vibrant social scene by anchoring the ground floor pedestrian areas with retail, hotel lobby bar and lounge and a pool deck area designed to take advantage of the City of Ft. Lauderdale sweeping downtown views and its work or play atmosphere that is emerging in Flagler Village where the project is proposed.
The project accommodate today’s life style and energy in its design and the characteristics of the hotel brand. Natural light floods all public space, from the retail to the impressive 15-foot wall of windows that fills the lobby with sunlight. This bright, airy environment is great for the guests and associates, and helps conserve energy too. An open, uninterrupted layout allows guests to move freely from one space to another.
Sustainable eco-friendly materials are incorporated in the design whenever possible: rooms feature carpets with up to 100% recycled content, the use of LED lighting helps with energy conservation, and low VOC (volatile organic compounds) paints improve indoor air quality.
